Each outfit includes a blouse (huipil), skirt (corte or morga) and belt (faja).  Other accessories are not included, but  can be purchased separately.

	Coban ---  These are three traditional Coban outfits for infants that happen to fit 23" dolls. The huipil's cotton cloth is textured, probably made on a foot-loom and then beautifully hand-embroidered with flowers and traditional designs.  The long rope tie that normally gathers the skirt has been replaced with elastic to make them safer for kids. The blouse is worn outside the skirt  without a belt.	2

	I told Juana from Patzun that I couldn't buy any more Patzun doll huipils for a while, until I had sold more of the ones she and her four daughters had already made for me.	One of her daughters thought that maybe if she embroidered her beautiful flowers on huipil fabric from San Juan La Laguna.  She was right.  They were too beautiful to pass up.

	I told Juana from Patzun that I couldn't buy any more Patzun doll huipils for a while, until I had sold more of the ones she and her four daughters had already made for me.	Again, one of her daughters thought that maybe if she embroidered her beautiful flowers on huipil fabric from Santo Domingo Xenacoj, maybe I would buy more.  She was right.  They were too beautiful to pass up.	This is actually a good example of how styles change and merge. I have now seen a couple woman's huipils from Santo Domingo Xenacoj with similar embroidery.
