Cotton with cotton brocading.
One side with finished selvage, the other fringed, somewhat uneven
lengths. Very good condition for a small child's huipil. Light even
fading of base material. Simply beautiful!

.Santo Domingo Xenacoj
--- Simple, but fun huipil that has embroidered flowers with beads to
decorate the neck and shoulder. Embroidered randa holds the two
panels together and neck edge is nicely finished. Selvage ends of panels on
one side of huipil on other side have been neatly hemmed.. Sides are open so
can be worn as poncho or easily stitched to close. In fair used
condition used condition with some light spotting, and portions of the
beaded flowers have loose threads that need to be tacked down..

Santo Domingo Xenacoj --- Rich deep
colors and designs in this beautiful back strap loomed 2-panel huipil.
Mostly cotton. Be sure to look at close-up of traditional bird/serpent
designs. Embroidered randa that holds the two panels together. Ends of
panels are somewhat different lengths with one side selvage edges and other
open fringe. Sides are open so can be worn as poncho or easily stitched to
close. Very good used condition with a few loose threads.
