Guatemalan  Mayan Tzute and Carrying Cloths
(can also be  used as tablecloths & runners)

Pictured below are thumb-nail pictures of some of the tzute or carrying cloths that Mayan's use for many purposes.   They were bought in the women's markets of Guatemala and most have been used. They are are generally in good to very good condition unless noted otherwise.  As with any hand-woven textile there is some variability.  The sizes listed below are good approximations.  You can use a tzute as a table runner, table cloth, decorative wall hanging, baby carrier, shawl, poncho or .... depending on the dimensions and designs.   For Guatemala Mayan women tzutes serve a multitude of purposes. They are used to carry babies, as carrying cloths for market wears, to cover a basket of tortillas or a table, as a shawl, or as a head-cover to shade the face.
